AT&T put the HTC Tilt 2 up for sale at $299.99. The second Windows Mobile 6.5 handset to be offered by AT&T after the Pure, the Tilt2 is available on a 2-year contract after a $50 mail-in rebate or $499.99 contract free.

Kempler & Strauss Billionair 7 mobile phone

Kempler & Strauss last week unveiled the new Billionair 7 mobile phone hailed as the first GSM quad-band 3.5G phone based on Windows Mobile.

The handset has all sorts of features that business users will like including a touchscreen and a QWERTY keyboard. The CPU inside the phone is a 624MHz unit for lots of power and performance. Other features include Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

The screen of the phone is a 2.5-inch TFT unit with a resolution of 240 x 300. The handset also has a 3MP rear camera for taking video and still shots and a front facing camera for video conferencing. The handset charges via USB and has a microSD card slot. Talk time is 75 minutes with standby time of 200 hours. The handset is available now for $275.

Samsung Behold II on T-Mobile now

T-Mobile and Samsung announced the T-Mobile exclusive Behold II Android phone today. The device is a full touch screen unit with the Samsung TouchWiz interface. The handset has a 3.2-inch AMOLED screen with crisp colors and wide viewing angles.

The TouchWiz interface of the device is designed to allow the user to customize the home screen with widgets for various services and features like music, photos, YouTube, and more. The phone will also work with the Widget Store when it launches.

The device has Wi-Fi integrated along with a 5MP camera that has autofocus, flash, five shooting modes, and video recording capability. The handset also supports visual voicemail and has a built-in music player. Storage is to up to 16GB of external memory and GPS and Bluetooth are built-in as well.

AT&T with new web-enabled phones

AT&T has a new line of mobile phones from Pantech and Samsung that are all web-enabled and have full web browsers. The device includes the Pantech Reveal and Impact as well as the Samsung Mythic and Flight.

The new phones are loaded with the faster and richer HTML mobile browser and Att.net service. The Pantech Reveal will hit stores on October 18 in red or blue and is a slim slider device with a numeric keypad on the front and a full keyboard underneath. The Impact has an OLED touch screen for sending texts and making calls. The screen has haptics controls with a soft buzz when keys are pressed. It has a slide out physical keyboard and will come in pink or blue.

The Samsung mythic is a touch screen only device that is Mobile TV capable and will ship in November. The screen is 3.3-inches and supports AT&T premium services like navigator. The Flight is a vertical slider with a dull keyboard and a touch screen. It will be offered in red or silver colors.

HTC Tilt 2 and Pure on AT&T

AT&T and HTC unveiled a couple new phones including the HTC Tilt 2 and the Pure. The Pure runs Windows Mobile 6.5 and has a touch screen in a compact form factor and the Tilt 2 has a tilting touch screen and a slide out QWERTY keyboard.

Both use HTC’s TouchFLO 3D interface with a vibrant touch screen and has full support for basics like calls, texting, and email in a single contact view. The Pure has a 3.2-inch screen and a 5MP camera that can record video. It sells for $149.99 and is available now.

The HTC Tilt 2 has a 3.6-inch screen with a large QWERTY keyboard underneath. The keyboard is optimized for heavy use and a quality speakerphone is built-in. The camera is a 3.2MP unit and the speakerphone has dual mics with advanced noise cancellation. The device will sell for $349.99 before a mail-in rebate.
