Verizon offers Blackberry Storm for $50

by on Aug.31, 2009, under BlackBerry

If you read the reviews and still find yourself wanting a Storm, this is the time to buy. We have heard the rumors that the Storm 2 is coming and to clear out stocks of the original Storm, Verizon has hacked the price of the Storm to $50 with a 2-year contract.

The rub is that the Storm 2 is apparently coming soon and is expected to be much better than the original. Still, those of us who don’t really consider ourselves Blackberry connoisseurs may find the original Storm to be just fine.

OtterBox offers Blackberry Curve 8520 case

by on Aug.21, 2009, under Accesories, BlackBerry

OtterBox has announced a new case for the Blackberry 8520 called the Impact. Unlike the large and elaborate Defender case, the Impact isn’t water resistant. The Impact is a thinner and less bulky case that is made from silicone and includes a self-adhering clear protective screen shield to protect the screen from scratches.

The case doesn’t block any ports or buttons and allows complete interaction with all buttons. Those of you who prefer brightly colored cases will not like that the impact only comes in black. You can get the impact case now for $19.95.
